How Princess Diana’s style still has an impact in 2023 according to 6 fashion experts

By avi maxwel / in , , , , , /

The mark that Princess Diana left in the fashion world is boundless. Arguably, she’s the most influence style muse in fashion history, and still, 25 years after her death, her distinguishable sartorial agenda is still being used as inspiration for the whole industry.

The most recent example? This week, when designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, showcased his Fall/Winter 2024 show at the Château de Versailles and explained the whole collection was inspired by Lady Di, “Jacquemus’ latest collection was all based on references from her most iconic style moments, such as the sapphire and pearl triple strand necklace that she wore with her revenge dress,” explains Hello! Fashion’s digital editor Natalie Salmon.

Eiza González on Style, Self-Care, and Prada’s Milan Fashion Week Show

By avi maxwel / in , , , , , , , , /

To simply call Eiza González a Hollywood actress would be an understatement—even outside of her chosen industry, she’s become a familiar face. Not only is she the first-ever Latina to be named a North American ambassador for Bulgari, but earlier this year, she announced a partnership with tequila brand Casa Azul. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the stunning Baby Driver and I Care a Lot actress is also a fixture at high fashion runway shows. Specifically, we caught up with her at Prada’s spring/summer 2024 show in Milan, where González paired a black woven cropped halter top with a sleek black maxi skirt, and accessorized with a black Prada Arqué leather shoulder bag, naturally. The show itself featured ethereal, sheer dresses, metallic fringe skirts, and rugged leather—a juxtaposition González enjoys and sees reflected in her own style. Below, more from González about her go-to looks, how she practices self-care, and her thoughts on fashion week in 2023.

In search of summer inspo for pool parties, seaside hangs, and grad trips? We’ve rounded up the biggest 2023 summer fashion trends to cop in the days ahead.

Designers have shown love to see-through fabrics, outfitting your favorite celebs in the naked dress trend for plenty of red carpets (and FYI, you don’t have to *actually* be naked to try styling some breezy, sheer pieces). Or for a chill day, the “just left pilates” vibe that’s a favorite of Addison Rae and Kendall Jenner is the lovechild of balletcore and athleisure — core pieces of the niche style include workout onesies, stretchy athletic headbands, and pleated tennis skirts.

And if you’re looking for ‘fit inspo for fancier occasions, try out ’70s trends like sparkly lurex and flare jeans that are back in full force. Whether you’re fully living for the grungy Daisy Jones vibes
