10 Easy London Fashion Week Outfits You Can Wear This Weekend

The street style scene can be incredibly theatrical, with guests having at least three outfit changes in a day in the back of their chauffeured cars, pieces borrowed by designers for an hour or so, and outfits chosen for their wow factor. As fabulous as these moments can be, we find ourselves drawn to the quieter outfits that we can actually use as styling inspiration for months, if not years, to come.

Out of all of the international fashion weeks, London always has a more relaxed and practical energy—maybe it’s the high chance of rain, or the likelihood that you’ll be spending a couple of hours standing in a frozen warehouse in Hackney. Most editors, stylists, and buyers tend to wear their minimalist staples, such as jeans or black tailored trousers, as a base, and then add some more interest with accessories or a few trend-led pieces.

There were a few trends we saw, again and again, this London Fashion Week, namely bomber jackets, the leather motocross trend, wide-leg jeans, and oversized silhouettes. If you are in need of some fresh outfit inspiration, then let the below ten looks help guide some of your styling decisions or new purchases for the season ahead.

The Minimalist Dream

When at fashion month, British Vogue’s deputy editor and fashion features director, Sarah Harris, always focuses on timeless, simple wardrobe pieces. Instead of shouty prints or extroverted trends, she keeps it polished and classic in elegant tailoring and refined separates. In London, she wore loose-fitting black trousers with a utility shirt-style jacket, white T-shirt, and pointed pumps—an outfit you don’t need a fashion show to invite to recreate.

The XL Camel Coat

This season, Tove showed its debut fashion show, and Caroline Issa showed us just how beautiful its clothes are in this beautiful combination. We can’t decide which we love more—the wrap-effect, ruched bodysuit in a rich chocolate hue or the ankle-skimming wool-blend camel coat.

Let Your Motocross Jacket do the Talking

We’ve been telling you for several months now how leather motocross jackets are about to make a comeback, and this outfit gives us a lesson in how to style it. The key is to keep the rest simple, with black trousers, black loafers, and a classic leather shoulder bag, and let your jacket do all the talking.

98% of Us Shop Online (And 74% Have Buyer’s Remorse) – Could Google’s New Tool Fix That?

By avi maxwel / in , , , , , , /

According to Google, 98% of people worldwide shop online, whether it’s just researching products, browsing or ultimately buying. Knowing this, the search engine giant recently launched some new tools to make the online shopping experience even better.

find: 3 Smart Ways People Save Money When Filing Their Taxes

Announced Feb. 15 as part of a “Shop with Confidence” initiative, these new tools are intended to prevent the very common problem of “buyer’s remorse” – which accounts for 74% of us experience, according to a 2022 studies from Slickdeals. Two of the new opportunities are further honed in on the price tag of the goods to avoid unnecessary sticker shock.

The first new offering is related to price insights. Google now has a Shopping Graph that can help determine when and where to buy. As you may have noticed when clicking on the shopping tab after searching on Google for a particular item, the site pulls together various options from a variety of online consumer portals.

But with the Shopping Graph, Google aims to offer further transparency. The tool scans more than 35 billion product listings, storing data on how prices have fluctuated over time. The graph then shows, in real time, if the current sticker price is typical for the market… or high (or low) compared to other sellers. Additionally, this tool provides additional helpful tidbits such as product availability, reviews, colors, sizes and materials — even YouTube product videos.

“If this sounds familiar, it’s because the Shopping Graph is a similar model to our Knowledge Graph, Google’s database of facts about people, places and things,” a Google statement read.

Another shopper-friendly tool being introduced: enhanced Coupon Clipping features. Google stated that this functionality aims to better identify and apply promo codes from across the web. Google claimed it hopes to make these promotions more visible by adding a “special offers” promotion badge to products. Shoppers are able to tap the item and “clip” the coupon (which really just means copying and pasting it on the retailer’s site when it comes time to check out).

Online Shopping? Snag the Best Deals With These 4 Money-Saving Tips

By avi maxwel / in , , , , , /

In recent years, online shopping has surged in popularity. While there are several reasons for this, convenience is certainly at the top of the list. Online shopping allows you to browse and buy everything from groceries and sundries, to treadmills and makeup in just a few clicks. It also allows you to easily compare prices, so you can save money by getting the best deals (to say nothing of saving money on the gas it takes to get to and from brick and mortar stores).

To help you save even more money, here are four simple tips for finding the best coupon codes, increasing your cash back, and ensuring you get the biggest bang for your buck.

To Snag Coupon Codes: Search YouTube

You probably already know to find money-saving coupon codes at free websites
likes TheKrazyCouponLady.com and RetailMeNot.com via coupon-finding browser extensions like CouponCabin, Sidekickand Rakuten. But there’s a lesser-known way to find even more: Head to YouTube and search for a brand, store, or product you love, plus the phrase “coupon code” (for example, “Ulta coupon code”). Then filter your results by date so you’re seeing the most recent coupons first. Online product reviewers with large YouTube followings (more than 10,000 subscribers) often receive exclusive coupon codes in return for promoting brands in their videos, and they share those exclusive codes in said video and video descriptions.

To Get Cash Back: Install a Browser Extension

Bought an item online only to discover the price dropped a few days later? Great news: If you have a Gmail or Yahoo! email account, you can get the price difference refunded to you when you sign up for the Capital One Shopping browser extension (CapitalOneShopping.com). Not only does this free tool give you cash back and coupons that help you save, it also offers a price protection feature that scans your email for online orders, then tracks the prices of items in your orders for up to 30 days after purchase. When the tool detects a price drop, it automatically requests a price adjustment from the vendor. The difference is then refunded back to the card that you used to purchase the item. To enable the price protection feature after signing up, click on your name, go to “Account Settings,” then “Link a mailbox to track your purchases,” and select an email account.

To Save: Upload Product Photos

When you see an item that you love at an online retailer or on social media, you can find out who sells it for the lowest price in seconds by uploading or dragging and dropping a photo of the item to Bing.com/VisualSearch or Images. Google. com. You’ll get a list of products that are the same or similar, along with where they’re sold and their price. Another option: Upload a photo to TrendGetter.com to find similar items sold at Walmart, or to Amazon.com/StyleSnap to find similar clothing on Amazon. To search Etsy, tap the camera feature

Best red carpet fashion at the 2023 SAG Awards

From Zendaya to Michelle Yeoh, see the best-dressed celebrities at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

As Hollywood’s biggest names gathered for the 29th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, it soon became clear that they were out to have fun. Sunday evening’s red carpet was alive with playful detailing, sparkling sequins and saturated color.
Among the night’s best-dressed was Zendaya, who wowed in a Valentino bustier dress custom-designed by the label’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli. The strapless gown was embroidered with almost 200 silk roses that formed an elegant train behind her.
The “Euphoria” star wasn’t the only attendee to opt for florals, which ranged from the bold flower embellishments of Emily Blunt’s figure-hugging Oscar de la Renta gown to the subtle print of Stephanie Hsu’s Carolina Herrera look. Paul Mescal got in on the trend, too, with a sheer overcoat embroidered with bejeweled petals.

Sequins and metallics meanwhile brought some sparkle to LA’s Fairmont Century Plaza — whether it was through the glittering hand-embroidery of Danielle Deadwyler’s ombré Louis Vuitton gown or the fringed gold decoration of Michelle Yeoh’s Schiaparelli haute couture gown. “Abbott Elementary” star Sheryl Lee Ralph shone in a shimmering Tadashi Shoji gown and Aubrey Plaza also impressed in a bold midriff-baring sequined look by Michael Kors.

Wearing a flowy Valentino dress, “The White Lotus” star Sabrina Impacciatore was — along with Ariana DeBose, in an outsized Prabal Gurung pantsuit — among several actors to sport hot pink. Others opted for eye-catching shades of yellow, including Viola Davis, also in Valentino, and “Dahmer” star Niecy Nash-Betts, who wore a strapless Vera Wang gown.

Some of the evening’s best menswear also embraced color, with Austin Butler and James Marsden putting their own spin on the black-tie dress code in, respectively, maroon and baby blue tuxedos. And Eddie Redmayne brought some welcome extravagance to the red carpet in a dramatic Saint Laurent blouse and wide-legged velvet pants.
